MSBA Policy Services

Clear and well-written school board policies are an important tool for effective school board governance.

MSBA's Policy Services department keeps member districts up to date on policy changes brought about by legislative action, agency regulations and educational trends. All material produced by the Policy Services department is reviewed by MSBA's Legal and Legislative staff members, as well as the Policy Advisory Committee, which consists of superintendents, school law attorneys, Board members and insurance specialists.
