CBM Recognition

CBM Recognition: Since the 1980s - even before statutory requirements for school board member training - MSBA has had a Certified Board Member (CBM) Training Program. School board members who complete (the Essential level, the Advanced level, or the Master level), receive a lapel pin and a certificate appropriate for display. Additionally, each June at the MSBA Leadership Summit, school board members who complete any portion of the CBM program are recognized for their accomplishments at a formal banquet.
