Leadership Summit

Conference fee: $135
Leadership of Missouri's Public Schools is not a single topic
to be presented by a single presenter in a single conference session.
Rather, leadership is an atmosphere of action, including many complex
elements both great and small, dependent for their execution on a diverse
spectrum of persons and positions.
MSBA's 2008
Leadership Summit is exactly what its name implies - a conference of individuals
engaged by, curious about, and obligated to that atmosphere of action. We
are proud of the assemblage of meaningful content and expert presenters the Summit offers:
- from
the state's most reputable researchers and their insights into leadership
best practices,
- through
the DESE officials specifically charged by the state government with the
task of advancing school leadership,
- from
MSBA's own staff's discoveries in the field with real boards and
superintendents,
- to
the active leadership shown in the Delegate Assembly, and
- most
especially in the wisdom brought to the Summit by board members and
superintendents from Missouri's most successful district
MSBA's
Leadership Summit offers the only opportunity for Missouri educators to consider the entire realm
of school leadership and to find their best path through it. The entire Summit is devoted to providing
Missouri-specific, reality-grounded, research-proven ideas and tools for those
who attend. We look forward to seeing you there, to sharing with and
learning from you and your colleagues.
