Providing safer, easier-to-maintain playground surfaces

Loose materials (shredded rubber, pea gravel, or wood chips) for playground surfaces have safety and maintenance cost concerns. But, the molded rubber tile surface provided by MSBA partner National Safe Surfacing Initiative, LLC, offers durability and visual appeal, while providing a safer surface for student play. The company custom designs the right playground surface solution for each school.

Preparing for disaster

If you have the misfortune to find your district in the headlines because of a crisis, a well-constructed crisis plan can make all the difference in how the situation is resolved. SafePlans, LLC, an MSBA partner, works with member districts to create and refine Emergency Response Information Plans (ERIP), and to train district staff in how to put those plans into action.

Securing Our Schools

School safety is enhanced by the specialized design, system integration, installation and services provided by MSBA's partner, American Digital Security.  Examples of their products include closed circuit television, digital/network video surveillance, card access control, IP products, door intercom systems and intrusion detection systems.  Visit the ADS website to learn more.
