MSBA provides an array of financial services for school board members, local boards of education and school districts. Because not all school districts wish to participate in these services, the fees from these services are incurred by individual districts that express interest -- not passed on to the entire membership. That way, MSBA can offer assistance, as needed, and keep the cost of membership as low as possible.
