Resource Committee

Purpose:

The School Resources Committee is the hub of information and ideas about available resources that benefit member districts, including MSBA programs and services. The Committee works with MSBA to spread this pooled intelligence to members throughout the state and to offer new tools to help member districts run more efficiently and economically.

Activities:

The School Resources Committee acts as a liaison among school board members spreading their valuable knowledge and expertise to the entire membership. The Committee also develops members' requests and inquiries into strategies for improving the delivery of current MSBA programs and services and for creating new resources for member districts.

Committee Structure:

The Vice President chairs this committee, consisting of 17 school resource committee representatives, four governmental relations chairs and one large district representative or K-8 representative from the Board of Directors.
