MSBA Officers

The elected officers of the Association are President, President-Elect, and Vice-President. The President presides at meetings of the Association, Board of Directors and Executive Committee, is an ex-officio voting member of all board committees, and serves as Chair of the Governance and Advocacy Committees. The President-Elect renders the President assistance as needed in carrying out the work of the Association and serves as Chair of the Board Services Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee. The Vice-President also renders the President assistance as needed in carrying out the work of the Association and serves as a member of the Executive Committee and chairs the School Resources Committee. The Immediate Past President is not elected, but serves as a member of the Executive Committee, chairs the Education and Training Committee, the Nominating Committee, the Conference Committee and assists other officers as requested.
