P-Card earns school districts rebates
MSBA is presenting 11 school districts in the state checks totaling nearly $55,000 for their participation in the association's procurement card (P-Card) program. The P-Card program saves school districts money by improving controls over spending and reducing paperwork for staff. By using the P-Card for purchases, school districts have the ability to restrict purchases to only certain product categories and implement spending limits for each cardholder. Participating districts also receive a rebate based on the purchases they make using the card.

The 11 districts receiving a rebate are Nixa R-II, Park Hill, Columbia, Webster Groves, Grain Valley, Northwest R-I, School of the Osage, Spokane R-VII, Pleasant Hill R-III, Logan-Rogersville R-VIII, and Raymore-Peculiar R-II.

The P-Card program was first offered by MSBA in 2005. The service provider is Harris Bank of Illinois.
