Missouri school districts have the opportunity to learn more about what their communities think about their local schools and participate in a statewide research initiative through a project offered through MSBA. The first annual MSBA Patron Pulse survey will be conducted in school districts throughout the state this coming January. Participating districts will be able to determine which issues are true "hot buttons" in your district and which are non-issues, helping your school board make more informed decisions and giving a more strategic focus to communication with your patrons.
The 10-minute telephone survey of your district's patrons will focus on evaluation of key people, program and facility areas; strengths, challenges and goals; and current issues facing our public school including funding.
The fee to participate in the Patron Pulse survey is $3,900 for MSBA members. You can sign up and find more information about the project by visiting www.patronpulse.com or contact Brent Ghan at MSBA at 800-221-6722, ex. 376.
