Thirteen Missouri school districts are receiving rebates totaling more than $60,000 because of their participation in MSBA's P-Card program. The P-Card program saves school districts money by improving controls over spending and reducing paperwork for staff. By using the P-Card for purchases, school districts have the ability to restrict purchases to only certain product categories and implement spending limits for each cardholder. Participating districts also receive a rebate based on the purchases they make using the card. The P-Card program was first offered by MSBA in 2005.
