School Board Advocacy Network (SBAN)

MSBA’s School Board Advocacy Network (SBAN) provides local school board members with the opportunity to meet with legislators during the General Assembly’s session in Jefferson City.

Please join us at 10:00 a.m. on the Tuesday for your region at the:
MSBA Member Relations Office, 200 Madison Street, Suite 240, Jefferson City, 65101.

A briefing from MSBA staff will provide you with the background information needed to carry an effective message your legislators. The briefing will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Capitol visit. We ask that you stop by the office when you conclude your day to report on your visit.

It is more important than ever to support public education in Missouri by visiting with legislators and having them hear first-hand the issues school districts are facing in these financially difficult times. These visits will allow school officials to have a consistent presence at the Capitol during the legislative session.
